	Chrome Guitar End-Pin Strap Button Friction-mount Jack USD 4.79   This is a "friction mount" 1/4" stereo slotted end pin/strap button jack for guitars and other instruments. It doubles both as a standard guitar output jack, as well as a handy place to attach your strap! the standard placement is at the very bottom/end of an acoustic guitar, where the two side pieces join together at the base. Instead of needing a nut tightened inside the body of the instrument to hold it in place, this jack has a serrated/loose threaded portion that seats very firmly into a 31/64" hole. A small amount of epoxy can be added to make the bond even more permanent. The jack face is slotted to help with mounting. Please note that using a 31/64" drill bit is recommended for best results - in our testing, a 1/2" bit was too big, and a 15/32" was too small. A friction-mount jack can be easier to install on finished instruments, as it can be very hard to get the nut tightened on the jack shaft when you are trying to mount it inside the instrumetn body. i don't think it's going to make a difference how long it heals... just make sure if you're piercing it yourself, STERILIZE IT! boiling water, flames, whatever as long as it's clean, you won't get infected. if it's infected, it may have trouble healing.
